Motivation tips
Sometimes it is hard to keep yourself motivated.
Here are some tips to help you stay motivated:
Sometimes its best to step away, take a break, and step back in again Having goals and dreams are great, but without the energy to pursue them, they will fall flat
The way you view things and how you respond to them greatly affect your path
You have to learn to eliminate distractions to allow you to focus on the task at hand
Your mind is more likely to absorb and remember information when you are relaxed.
When you struggle with this, very often you are trying too hard and putting too much stress on yourself together with not switching off the day to day life surrounding you.
If you are struggling to concentrate, take a break, walk away and come back to it when you feel refreshed. I call it a ‘second wind!’
Set yourself goals (achievable goals), have a clear vision, and plan your steps to achieve
Break it down into bite size achievable steps
Record your progress so you can see how far you have come, and to stay organised and in control
Set yourself deadlines
Avoid multi-tasking, its over-rated, and it divides your attention so you are not fully concentrating on the task at hand
Reward yourself when you achieve each step / goal
Get family or friends to help you, check in with them on your progress
Know and remember why you are doing this
Keep it fun to keep you motivated
Stay optimistic, its more positive and a nicer vibe than pessimism
You can do this
