ā¤ Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure used to exfoliate the outermost layer of the skin, known as the stratum corneum.

🧔 It involves the use of a special abrasive device to 'exfoliate' the skin, which is then suctioned away using the vacuum function.

šŸ’› This process helps to:

šŸ’š Remove dead skin cells - desquamation

šŸ’š Improve skin texture - dull appearance, rough texture

šŸ’š Reduce the appearance of fine lines

šŸ’š Acne - grades 1 & 2, as well as congestion

šŸ’š Uneven pigmentation - Hyperpigmentation

šŸ’š Ageing - wrinkles, sagging skin

šŸ’š Increase microcirculation

šŸ’š Decrease oedema

šŸ’™ Microdermabrasion is performed in dermatology clinics or spas by trained professionals as an advanced facial treatment to provide a more beneficial and results driven experience for the client.

šŸ’œ The treatment can be performed as a stand alone treatment of as part of a facial routine.

šŸ–¤ What qualifications do you need to do microdermabrasion?

Depending on your insurer, you will either need a facial qualification or a level 2 beauty therapy qualification (that includes a facial element)

šŸ¤ We offer two qualification types:

šŸ¤Ž VTCT Level 3 certificate in microdermabrasion treatments VRQ (this can be completed within around 3 months) - MORE INFO

&

šŸ¤Ž Microdermabrasion 1 day accredited qualification - MORE INFO
