๐Ÿ’†โ€โ™€๏ธ What is microdermabrasion? ๐Ÿ’†โ€โ™€๏ธ

โค Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure used to exfoliate the outermost layer of the skin, known as the stratum corneum.

๐Ÿงก It involves the use of a special abrasive device to 'exfoliate' the skin, which is then suctioned away using the vacuum function.

๐Ÿ’› This process helps to:

๐Ÿ’š Remove dead skin cells - desquamation

๐Ÿ’š Improve skin texture - dull appearance, rough texture

๐Ÿ’š Reduce the appearance of fine lines

๐Ÿ’š Acne - grades 1 & 2, as well as congestion

๐Ÿ’š Uneven pigmentation - Hyperpigmentation

๐Ÿ’š Ageing - wrinkles, sagging skin

๐Ÿ’š Increase microcirculation

๐Ÿ’š Decrease oedema

๐Ÿ’™ Microdermabrasion is performed in dermatology clinics or spas by trained professionals as an advanced facial treatment to provide a more beneficial and results driven experience for the client.

๐Ÿ’œ The treatment can be performed as a stand alone treatment of as part of a facial routine.

๐Ÿ–ค What qualifications do you need to do microdermabrasion?

Depending on your insurer, you will either need a facial qualification or a level 2 beauty therapy qualification (that includes a facial element)

&
