⤠Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive cosmetic procedure used to exfoliate the outermost layer of the skin, known as the stratum corneum.
š§” It involves the use of a special abrasive device to 'exfoliate' the skin, which is then suctioned away using the vacuum function.
š This process helps to:
š Remove dead skin cells - desquamation
š Improve skin texture - dull appearance, rough texture
š Reduce the appearance of fine lines
š Acne - grades 1 & 2, as well as congestion
š Uneven pigmentation - Hyperpigmentation
š Ageing - wrinkles, sagging skin
š Increase microcirculation
š Decrease oedema
š Microdermabrasion is performed in dermatology clinics or spas by trained professionals as an advanced facial treatment to provide a more beneficial and results driven experience for the client.
š The treatment can be performed as a stand alone treatment of as part of a facial routine.
