With over 200 course options to choose from and 1000+ students enrolled within the past three years, our business has grown from strength to strength. This expansion in combination with our multi-award-winning school status has enabled us to proudly add ‘Academy’ to our business name. Training should never be dull – we know that – and we work hard to make our training environment engaging, fun and friendly. This warm atmosphere helps our students develop their confidence and skills in a welcoming, safe space, and our experienced tutors nurture each learner encouraging them to grow and blossom as individual therapists within their chosen field.
We are constantly evolving the business to bring new courses to the table and, in turn, offer our students a greater choice of subjects for study. Our courses are wide-ranging and include beauty, nails, and massage as well as complementary therapies, sports therapies, and fitness. We have diversified as we have grown and also offer courses in business management and finance, customer services, first aid, teacher training and assessing, and more.
Holistic Therapies Training Academy tutors pride themselves in offering a unique and personalised training experience to each student. We recognise when it comes to teaching that a one hat fits all approach is not in our students’ best interests. We understand everyone has their own learning methodology and we embrace this, tailoring our courses to meet those needs. We are dedicated to all our students, and we support them through the entirety of their learning journey with us. We offer additional training where needed so each student who learns with us can finish their course and enter the public sphere confident in their knowledge and abilities.
All our tutors are self-employed therapists with a wealth of knowledge on setting up and running a business in the therapy industry. This valuable experience is passed on to our students, equipping them with a sound knowledge base to kickstart business in their own chosen line of work. This is why we offer on-site training, as well as one to one training as this ensures each student receives the exact training required.

As well as teaching from our centres we offer on site training to spas and salons, and have many contracts with spas and salons around the UK to provide bespoke training to their staff.

We are a VTCT-approved centre and undergo a robust annual inspection to ensure we are operating to our best ability as well as meeting industry standards via up-to-date policies and procedures. Our comprehensive online course platform facilitates online student learning and online testing. All students are logged onto our database where we can track their progress as they study. They attend practical classroom training and, before they qualify, must complete a number of case studies. Some of our courses also require formal exams and assessments.
All students are assigned a coursework tutor, and practical training is always tutor-led so students are supported through the learning process every step of the way. Our online platform enables students to direct message us with any questions, and we also have a private, student-dedicated Facebook group offering support as well as networking opportunities.

What makes us unique to other Training Providers?
During the pandemic, we adapted! Where feasible, we switched much of our training to online learning. This was to provide as much continuity as we could to our students, enabling them to progress study with the least disruption possible. Zoom became our friend and through this channel, we were able to offer live lessons, exams and coursework support.
The pandemic was a tough time for all. We decided to offer free, online mental health courses - both to our students as well as the general public - to help people navigate the uncertainty and confusion Covid brought about. These courses, predominantly anxiety awareness and stress management focused, were incredibly successful. We had close to 300 people enrolling and completing them, and we received some fantastic feedback and comments on how helpful our courses had been.
Our business is about our passion and love for teaching. It’s about passing on this passion. And it’s about watching our students grow. We are proud of our achievements.
